2024年6月29日から7月1日にスペイン, バルセロナで開催された7th World Symposium on Pulmonary Hypertension に参加しました。世界中から肺高血圧症の最先端の治療と研究を行う専門家が集まり、多岐にわたる話題が議論されていました。最新の肺高血圧治療・研究について学ぶことができ、とても有意義でした。

当科からは下記の3演題のポスター発表をしました。

Takeoka, et al. Prevalence of Mild Pulmonary Hypertension Associated with Impaired Lung Vascular Growth in Children with Severe Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia: A Catheterization-Based Study.

また、バルセロナは気候も良く食事も美味しくとても楽しい時間を過ごせました。

完成間近のサグラダ・ファミリアは圧巻でした。

学会後は肺高血圧研究の第一線であるパリ＝サクレー大学のラボ見学をさせていただき、施設内の見学、現在進行中の研究プロジェクトについても説明してもらいました。

今回の経験を基に今後も研究や臨床実践に活かしていきたいと思います。
